Our Policies

To order simply enter the name of the item in one of the "cart" windows. If you want the slate to be personalized with a family name, or a greeting, or whatever you choose, just enter that right after the slate's name in the same little window.

For special orders, please contact us so that we can see what your needs are. For most special order pets, the price is $30 for a head image; houses start at $45. We also do canvas portraits--pets $65 for 11 x 14 and $90 for houses in 11 x 14. 16 x 20 paintings start at $125 on canvas.

Shipping and Handling

We attempt to ship your order within 5 days after receiving it depending on whether we have the item already in stock or if we will need to paint it.

We offer the following shipping methods:

Pay Pal---shipping is included in the price according to your location

Regular Mail--just contact us for this or for priority

Checks and money orders are welcome. Personal checks would be appreciated after viewing the image emailed to you for approval.

Slates are fitted with free wire hangers unless you would prefer rawhide. Use rawhide only if you are careful to check it from time to time. Rawhide is not recommended for outside.

Shipping usually runs about $10 on the East Coast, more across the country. Please contact us for a quote on shipping. No obligation, for sure!!

If it's not right, please let us know as we want your slate to be something that will give you many years of pleasure. We guarantee our work, and use outdoor paint that has been formulated for slate. We will email you an image of your slate for your approval before mailing it.
